About Us

PCI has offices conveniently located in both Missoula and Hamilton to provide engineering, surveying, and planning services throughout Western Montana. Our projects can be found throughout Montana from Seeley Lake and the Swan Valley, Lake and Granite Counties, including Georgetown Lake, to Plains and the Tobacco Valley.

We have more than 5,500 square feet of office space at our main Missoula office, and a well-equipped office in Hamilton. Our combined staff of 25 includes 5 Professional Engineers, 3 Professional Land Surveyors, 3 Professional Land-Use Planners and 1 LEED certified engineer. These licensed professionals are supported by a diversified staff, consisting of staff engineers and surveyors, computer drafters (CAD), GIS and survey crews.

PCI was formed in June of 1975 by the merging of five existing engineering, surveying and planning firms that had been practicing throughout western Montana for several years. The purpose of this merger was to assemble a truly “full service” firm that could provide all of our clients’ needs under one roof, which at that time was non-existent in western Montana.

Over the years PCI has always tried to change with the times, as well as with our clientele and their needs. We have always prided ourselves on the high percentage of our staff that hold professional licensure, so our clients are assured that their projects will be supervised by professional staff at all times. Our goal has always been to make going to work something that you enjoy, and we have always been blessed with a hard working, dedicated staff, who we have always considered to be part of the PCI “family”.
